Standard block

Difference to teaser section

The standard block layout is just like this here. If a block (or any render array children of the main system block) are identified to contain teaser slides, those will be extracted from the block and added to the area above (at some points also refered to as "light box area").

That said, whenever you have page (block) content containing nodes, rendered as teasers, these would not appear inside such a box here. This way, you can use

  1. core taxonomy term pages,
  2. the default front page ("/node"),
  3. any view that contains nodes, displayed as rendered entities ("teaser" mode)

to display all teasers from inside one actual page grouped in the specially dedicated "light box area". In addition, each Drupal block that has the "bilderblock-has-teasers" class set, will be displayed similarly to that area (however in its original place).
