WYSIWYG public allows bold, italics, bulleted (unordered) list, numbered list and link. For the link type the text you want to link, for example the name of an organization you want to provide a link for. When the text is highlighted, the link (chain) button will become visible. Click on that button to open a form that allows you to input the URL for the website, decide if it should open in the existing window or a new window and type in the text you would like to appear when hovering over the link (for example, “visit organization A’s website”

WYSIWYG contributor adds a further selection of editing buttons allowing underline; align left, centre, align right and justify; indent and outdent; heading 2, 3 and 4 (under format) as well as insert plain text (T icon). The insert plain text is very useful as you can copy from a word processed document and paste in using this button to avoid the formatting that may come in with word processed text creating problems.

WYSIWYG editor adds further button that allow you to insert a table. The insert table button (grid with pencil icon) creates a pop up box to select the number of rows and columns and further configure your table. Additional button become visible once a table has been created and let you further edit the table.
